The Legend of Miyue Sweeps China's TV Screen
要问这几天最火的电视剧是什么？那当然是《芈月传》了！由孙俪和刘涛主演的《芈月传》预告片一经发出就不出意料的位居榜首。
What's the hottest TV drama in China these days? The answer is definitely The Legend of Miyue. Starring award-winning actresses Sun Li and Liu Tao, the show premiered on Monday and topped the national audience rating chart as expected.
《芈月传》是由2011年拍摄《甄嬛传》的同一个班底制作的。后者一经播出大受好评，之后又引进到了日本，韩国，马来西亚，新加坡甚至美国。
The Legend of Miyue was produced by the same crew who created the much-praised historical drama Empresses in the Palace back in 2011. The latter was a huge success in China and was then introduced to Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore as well as America.
《芈月传》是否能超过《甄嬛传》呢？让我们拭目以待
81集的连续剧《芈月传》讲述了在公元前320年的战国时期，公主芈月当上中国第一个太后的曲折传奇的经历。
The new TV series, with 81 episodes in total, tells the story of Princess Miyue and how she became the first empress dowager in Chinese history dating back to 320 B.C.
《芈月传》在预告出来前呼声就很高，在正式上映两天后，数据显示芈月传的收视率和观众数在全部电视中独占鳌头。它同样横扫了中国的网络，48小时内的点击量就已经突破3.2亿了。
The Legend of Miyue was highly anticipated before its premiere. After two days of airing, statistics show that Miyue's national rating and audience share ranked first among all satellite TV stations in China. The series also swept China's online video websites, with accumulated views hitting 320 million in 48 hours.
但是，剧情貌似发生了反转？
12月2日下午，东方卫视官微发布一道声明，指出11月30日晚20点30分左右，东方卫视在播出《芈月传》过程中，上海多地区发生IPTV东方卫视信号中断现象，导致许多上海观众无法正常观看，收视受到严重影响。
据了解，一段时期以来，在上海地区部分街道社区有不明身份的人以高额现金形式，要求相关电视用户每日锁定收看外地××卫视。这一行为反映出极少数省级卫视为在年底冲击收视率指标，采取不正当竞争手段，对作为收视样本重镇的上海本地收视数据进行了严重污染。
不仅导致东方卫视和上海本地频道及许多卫视在上海的收视被分流，扰乱了上海本地收视市场秩序，也极大影响了电视媒体公正诚信的社会形象。对于类似频频出现的电视收视户受干扰的问题，东方卫视表示，将进一步深入调查取证，并保留依法追诉的权利。

@cancandewanzi: I have read the original novel of both Zhenhuan and Miyue. I think the novel of Zhenhuan is way better than that of Miyue.
